Testing Your Forms

Before you make your form public, it is important to do some testing to ensure that it is processing payments smoothly. This way, you can verify if the form is properly sending the payment to Stripe and recording the information back in HubSpot.

  1. Testing Checklist
  2. Stripe Testing

In your DepositFix app, make sure that your Stripe or PayPal settings are on test mode.

IMPORTANT: For Stripe subscriptions plans - make sure that you have the same plan IDs for test and live modes on Stripe

When you build the form, the Stripe Plan IDs we are pulling are from your Stripe test account. The code to set the payment form is also built from the Stripe test Plan ID.

Once you have completed your testing and want to go to live, the reference Plan ID remains the same. To avoid errors in processing, create the same Plan ID in the live account. This ensures the code remains consistent and will work without any interruption.

Testing Checklist

Go into your Stripe or PayPal test account and verify if the transaction is present. Go into you HubSpot Contact and verify if the information is logged.

  • Check your workflows history
  • Check the receiving email account and verify if the email was received.
