Adaptive Pricing means adjusting the price to meet the demand. Meaning that you can offer different prices on the same product, based on the number of purchases, or a certain date, etc.
DepositFix supports Adaptive Pricing, both for single payments and subscriptions.
Adaptive Pricing for Single Payments:
To add adaptive pricing for single payments, first, you need to create a form using Form Builder. Add any single payment product (it will be overridden via configuration), then you can add Product pricing to the embed code with this configuration:
products: [
{
name: '<Product Name>',
type: 'single_payment',
showQuantity: true,
prices: [
{upToQuantity: <quantity tier>, amount: <unit_price>},
{upToQuantity: <quantity tier>, amount: <unit_price>}
....
],
}
]
Full Example:
<script type='text/javascript' id='df-script'>
DepositFixForm.init({
formId: 'dff9b871-3083-434f-91bb-6f4c2ff6072b',
portalId: '4269803',
products: [
{
name: 'Product 1',
type: 'single_payment',
showQuantity: true,
prices: [
{upToQuantity: 5, amount: 100},
{upToQuantity: 10, amount: 80},
{upToQuantity: 9999999, amount: 50}
],
}
]
});
</script>

Adaptive Pricing for Subscriptions:
For adaptive pricing in Subscription, the syntax is slightly different, you will need to add planID as an attribute along with amount and upToQuantity
settings: {
currency: 'USD'
},
products: [
{
{
name: 'Growth Annual Membership',
type: 'subscription',
showQuantity: true,
subscriptionPrices: [
{ planId: 'gi_yearly_600', upToQuantity: 5, amount: 100 },
{ planId: 'gi_yearly_600', upToQuantity: 10, amount: 80},
{ planId: 'gi_yearly_600', upToQuantity: 15, amount: 70 },
{ planId: 'gi_yearly_600', upToQuantity: 25, amount: 60 },
{ planId: 'gi_yearly_600', upToQuantity: 35, amount: 50 }
],
}
]
